Job Scope / Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day IT operational support to ensure the stability, availability, and performance of systems, applications, and infrastructure.
• Manage, monitor, and troubleshoot Linux-based servers and environments.
• Perform database administration activities, including SQL query development, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts to improve operational efficiency and system reliability.
• Support cloud infrastructure operations, administration, and maintenance within AWS environments.
• Participate in data migration and system migration projects, including planning, execution, testing, validation, and post-migration support. Monitor system performance, identify issues proactively, and implement corrective actions.
• Generate operational, system health, and performance reports for management and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with project teams, consultants, and customers to support implementation and operational activities.
• Assist in system deployment, upgrades, patch management, and change management processes.
• Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge base articles.
• Ensure compliance with IT operational standards, security policies, and best practices.
• Provide incident management and problem resolution support to minimize service disruptions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–4 years of experience in IT Operations, IT Support, System Administration, Infrastructure Support, or related roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Linux administration and troubleshooting. Proficient in SQL for database querying, reporting, troubleshooting, and performance analysis.
• Experience in scripting and automation using Python, Shell Script, Bash, or similar programming languages.
• Hands-on experience supporting or administering AWS Cloud environments.
• Proven experience in data migration, system migration, or infrastructure migration projects.
• Good understanding of server, network, database, and cloud infrastructure concepts.
• Experience in monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining enterprise applications and systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams and clients.
• Able to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a dynamic project environment.
• Preferred Qualifications Experience working within System Integrator (SI), ICT, Telecommunications, Managed Services, or Technology Consulting companies.
• AWS certification (Cloud Practitioner, Solutions Architect Associate, or equivalent) is an advantage.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation tools.
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale IT infrastructure and customer-facing projects.
• Knowledge of cloud migration, virtualization, and hybrid infrastructure environments is highly desirable.
